So when I started with unraid version 6 was rather new, version 5 was still supported and had its own forum section.

 

Lately I been wondering; how was version 1 to 4? Can't seem to find any info on it.

 

Sometime i wish there was like an unraid history page 😁

I started on 4.7.  It just worked, and it worked very well as a basic NAS, but there were no plugins, no docker, no apps, and a relatively basic web interface.  There were a few extensions to add additional functionality to the UI.  I got my first license in early 2011.  I am still using that USB stick with the current release, although I currently have four licenses in total.
