Geran
So my Parity Check started last night at 11pm Eastern. I checked it today, and it is going extremely slow for some reason compared to before. The last parity check a month ago took roughly 30hrs. Nothing has changed since the last parity check. Anything I should look into, and how do I get diagnostics to post them here for people to review? Solution JorgeB Posted April 30 Solution Share Posted April 30 Check/replace cables for disks 13 and 14, also a good idea to run a SMART long test on 13 at least, 14 is not giving a full SMART report. Quote Link to comment

Thank you for that. I checked the cables/connections and they were fine. I tried to run SMART tests on drive 13 and 14 and they both came back as “Failed in segment” and never completed the tests. Furthermore, I am going to assume they are bad/dead and need to be replaced. Thanks again for your suggestions. 1 Quote Link to comment
