Hi all,

 is it possible to get a 30 day trial as an existing user. I already have 2 licenses but I wanted to experiment with a new setup on a mini pc with a JBOD attached. If it works out, I will probably buy another license but otherwise it would be a wasted license.

Is this possible, or does existing users not qualify for a 30 day trial?

You can always get a trial licence if you use a new USB regardless of whether you are an existing user or not.

I get the error below when I try to do the 30 day trial. I am pretty sure the USB I used has not been used for UNRAID before.

Try a different USB that you are positive hasn't been used. GUID's are tracked.

You need to make sure the USB drive you try to use has a unique GUID.    This is not always the case with cheap noname ones.

It was a Sandisk Cruzer drive. I just ordered a 3 pack of new ones that should be here tomorrow. I will try again once they arrive.

Ugh, I was not aware of the issue with Sandisk drives. Fingers crossed the ones I ordered work.

Not an issue with SanDisk directly.  There are a number of "questionable" look alike flash drives out on the market, many coming from the big internet retailers.

As an update, the new Sandisk USB arrived and works fine for the trial.
