September 30, 20241 yr Trying to figure out why the cache drive keeps dropping extremely low (< 1MB) When too low, running VMs with either pause or crash. Suggestions? Edited September 30, 20241 yr by JackSafari Delete duplicate image
September 30, 20241 yr Community Expert @JackSafari Note that the Free Space setting does not stop the free space falling below that value if existing files increase in size - it just stops new files being created for a share that is being cached.

However, VMs are being saved to cache/domains. The only one that is active 24/7 is a Windows 10 vm, and as shown is significantly large. Other than this specific cache problem, the unraid server is not having any other problems, running for nearly 3 years.
September 30, 20241 yr Community Expert Make sure you are doing this or the vdisks can grow with time, and will never shrink: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/51703-vm-faq/?do=findComment&comment=557606
