Looks like you're on the newer bios at this point. Do non-ssd's work? Wondering if perhaps it's the wire you're using?

I suppose this card already has the right firmware to work with Unraid, right?

I wouldn't mind having to flash it but it is not for me but for a client which does not want to bother with this stuff.

To reply to myself (for future searches)...
1) I indeed need all three firmware.
2) The .bin I mention DOES NOT work in linux console. Needs efi shell.
3) This helped me:

...but found latest 24.00.07 and it works!

Do you have a link to the latest 24.00.07 firmware?

Its in the github page. Click on the "Lenovo Storage Host Bus Adapter HBA Windows Firmware" link. Download the 25.37MB "payload file" script . If it asks for a serial, click "cancel" and click download again. Create a folder to hold the firmware and bios files. Open the script you just downloaded and click "extract". Choose the firmware folder you created and the files should be in there. This helped me create a UEFI Shell boot device https://github.com/KilianKegel/HowTo-create-a-UEFI-Shell-Boot-Drive?tab=readme-ov-file
