Hey guys could someone please take a look at my diagnostics file as I'm useless at this sort of thing.

Unraid boots and I can access unraid GUI from my web browser as normal, but after a few minutes I loose connection. Unraid is still running I think but I cant access which is bad as I'm totally lost without a GUI.

I tried downgrading but that hasn't worked either.

The syslog in the diagnostics is the RAM copy and only shows what happened since the reboot.   It could be worth enabling the syslog server to get a log that survives a reboot so we can see what happened prior to the reboot. The mirror to flash option is the easiest to set up, but if you are worried about excessive wear on the flash drive you can put your server’s address into the Remote Server field.

I only get to access the gui for a very short time and was very lucky to get the syslog downloaded at all, I wouldn't have enough time to do anymore.

I can boot to unraid OS GUI Mode without loosing access or getting booted out if that is any help?

The log only covers 2 minutes of uptime, if the GUI was already inaccessible, there's nothing relevant logged, can you still access the server with the monitor/keyboard, and/or, if you do a quick power button press, does it shutdown after a couple of minutes?

Yes I can access via keyboard/monitor and login via command line.  That's why theres only a 2 minute log as when I can't access from web browser I shutdown or reboot from command line.

I've read somewhere it could be a problem with a realtek ethernet driver?

You are using the stock Realtek drive, that one should be fine, see if you ping Google for example from the CLI after the issue happens, to confirm the problem is with the server.

Try 'ping 8.8.8.8' instead.

Try using a different NIC if you have, but could also be a LAN issue.

Is your router connected to Internet?  Can you access Internet from other PCs on same network?

Try resetting your modem and then router.  These could be a single device.  Then reset any switch in between your router and unRAID.  That may shake something loose.

I changed IPv4 DNS server: to 8.8.8.8 and now its working, is that a safe setting to use?
