May 6May 6 In the last week I have lost my access through windows file explorer to my media share on my NAS. I have tried the two listed solutions on the help drop down, but I seem to be doing something wrong. When I first set up the server I was able to make a user and windows asked for its password for access but now I just get an error. Would be grateful for some help so I can continue to transfer content from my computer.

In Control Panel, under Credentials, clear everything related to the server.

I did try to add one after following some advice from a web search for this problem but I guess I did it wrong because I keep getting an error.
May 6May 6 Author It says windows cannot access \\TOWER error code 0x80070035 The network path was not found
May 6May 6 Author I was able to get a pop-up window asking for credentials but there is a warning saying that "You can't access this shared folder because your organization's security policies block unauthorized guest access." Wish I was more technically minded but I don't know how to change this. Edited May 6May 6 by AaronGT
May 6May 6 Author I added a new credential by using the ip address plus share name and it worked but the old network name TOWER can no longer access the server even if I add a new credential for it. Anyone have any advice for this situation? Sorry for rambling and thanks to those who posted trying to help. Either way, it seems solved somewhat but still can't access the old TOWER under network list. Edited May 6May 6 by AaronGT
