tucansam Posted October 20, 2012 Share Posted October 20, 2012 Running my first parity sync on my new array. Unraid main shows everything is fine. UnMenu shows "Disk in Invalid" next to the parity drive. Yet the parity sync is progressing. Is this normal, or do I need to do something to configure the parity disk and then re-start the sync? The disk was precleared just like all my other disks, and then assigned as the parity disk, and then the sync was started. Thanks. Link to comment

JonathanM Posted October 20, 2012 Share Posted October 20, 2012 That is by design. Parity has been built, but never verified. As soon as you can, I'd run a parity check to ensure everything is working smoothly. Link to comment
