August 6, 200817 yr I have a Popcorn Hour A-100 and just installed llink on my unraid server. It works perfectly for me. No Problems with HD! 1) download the linux binaries from http://www.lundman.net/wiki/index.php/Llink 2) copy the files on your unraid machine 3) edit the llink.conf 4) run llink greets maciver
August 6, 200817 yr Did you need to use a thumbtack, 3-1 oil, and a strip of masking tape to make it all work? Bill
August 6, 200817 yr Did you need to use a thumbtack, 3-1 oil, and a strip of masking tape to make it all work? I've always thought the fix it all was "duct" tape.
August 6, 200817 yr Duct Tape is like the force: It has a dark side and a light side and it holds the world together.
August 6, 200817 yr BTW, the actual product was originally "duck" tape. It was designed during WWII as a general-purpose waterproof tape. Only later was it repurposed to more domestic uses and was generalized as "duct" tape. I used to make fun of people that called it "duck tape", putting them in the same category as those that said "warshington" and "nucular". Doh! Bill
August 6, 200817 yr Only later was it repurposed to more domestic uses and homogenized into poor quality crap at the same time
December 22, 200817 yr Would anybody be willing to put together a step by step guide for installing llink on an unraid box? I'm not very familiar with Linux and I wasn't able to follow the linux installation instructions on Lundman's site. It seems to me that the steps would be a little different for unraid, but I don't know enough to identify what should be changed. I'm a pretty technical computer user and I've gotten unmenu, email notifications, etc running on my unraid server, but this one has me stumped. Thanks.
January 18, 200917 yr Yes, this was easy! the configuration file was much different than the version I had running on my ReadyNAS, but it took no time to get it running.
