May 28, 201313 yr How do I do that? => Click on the "LimeTech" logo at the upright right of this page. That will take you to the UnRAID Home Page. [You can right-click, and say "Open in New Window" to keep this page available at the same time] => Click on Support => Just under the Technical Support label, it says "You may also contact Lime Technology ..." The word "contact" is a link to send an e-mail to LimeTech ... just click on it, and fill in the details. Just type a brief note, and include a link to this thread. Here's a link to this thread: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=27588.0
May 30, 201313 yr This might be something you've already tired (or doesn't apply to you) but... when I upgraded from 4.7 to rc12a, I wasn't able to get an IP either. Turns out, for some reason, the original ethernet port on my mobo was no longer active, but instead switched to the other one. So, if you have two ethernet ports, try swapping to the other one. Also, instead of having DHCP automatically assign you the parameters, manually edit the network.cfg.
May 30, 201313 yr Ill give it a shot but I was able to go back to 4.7 and that works fine... Well ... "if it ain't broke, don't fix it " I've never updated my main media server either ... and probably won't UNTIL I need to use a > 2TB drive. However, if you DO want to upgrade, as you've likely noticed, v5 Final is going to be released next week. I'd wait for that and then perhaps try again
