T1000
I've been using a AOC-SASLP-MV8 in my server for years now with no problems up until now. I want to sleep the server and the AOC-SASLP-MV8 card stops it from waking properly. My mobo is a ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 and has 6 sata ports and the following attached: AOC-SASLP-MV8 http://www.scan.co.uk/products/supermicro-aoc-saslp-mv8-8-port-sas-sata-300mb-s-pci-e-controller-card Serial ATA RAID PCI Card http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/serial-ata-raid-pci-card-a47bb Altogether they make up a total of 16 sata ports. I want to remove the AOC-SASLP-MV8 for a more compatible WOL option and I'm fine replacing the 2 port card too if need be. The mobo has: 1 x PCIe x16 1 x PCIe x1 2 x PCI I need to be able to create 10 sata ports from them expansion slots, can anyone tell me the best way to do this? Quote Link to comment
Ford Prefect
I am using a M1015/LSI 9211-8i (PCIe x8) flashed to IT-mode in that board...works everytime. Quote Link to comment
