6.0b12 docker, plex and crashplan apps

Hey all,

Since the recent update of 6.0 to beta 12, the look has changed drastically (for the better I might add).

I was wondering though, how do I now get the plex app (container) working properly?  I was able to find a really old thread and get it running, but seems every time i open the webgui after a reboot it thinks its a new install, and then I am not able to see my usershares (TV) to be able to add media?

Any help on initial configuration using the newer beta 12 with plex (and crashplan would be a bonus), would be most appreciated.

Thanks

Sorry that was a noob mistake/running out the door and wanted to see if anyone had any recent guides i have not been able to find.

also, any good way to post screens, it keeps telling me the file is too large even though i know its not...?

The old post i was referring to was this:  http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=33965.0

I used his template repo to get the plugin up and running, but right now I have several issues I think:

1) Unclear how to properly configure the volume mappings

2) When I open plex via the webUI, it seems to think its a new install (and i have to reconfigure the media by trying to add folders),

      - I do not see my usershares, and when i add files/click an entire disk, it does not show me any

directory info, its just blank.  The only one that shows me directory info is the "/" directory.

found this page just now

Basically I needed to add the /mnt  and /mnt/  to the container paths and was able to see the user shares, but now i see two types under the directory tree:

user0

user

Which directory is better practice to use for config, or does it not matter?  Appears user would be best if not using cache disk?

both show me contents of the user shares, but which one do i use?  it there a reason it is detecting twice?

*edit: was able to get my crashplan on unraid working/seeing files via this method as well*

**awaiting best use case for user directories, and why the user/0 duplication exists**

It would probably be simpler if you just used /mnt/user instead of /mnt for your volume mapping. You aren't really interested in /mnt/user0.

user0 is unRAIDs way of keeping track of which files are still on the cache disk. Any files that are still on cache will not appear in user0. For normal use, you don't care where the files are as long as they are considered part of the user share, so just user /mnt/user

My understanding is that the docker community will then update the software, and it is a simpler installation than the old unraid method.

Any other more in-depth info is appreciated.

(i am mainly trying to work with unraid 6.0 and learn at this point because I had a failure with my old array which for my piece of mind am going to create a new one and copy everything over.  figure now is a good time to play with 6.0 since i have to put the effort in eventually)
