Just  wanted to pop in and say Hi, I'm brand new to unRAID.  I recently decided to build a new server after running WHS for years, it was time to retire that one and I decided I could use a project.  So i started by thinking I would use a bunch of spare parts from my HTPC and left overs from the WHS running freeNAS....and ended up buying all new hardware, and running unRAID.

My setup is:

Asus:  ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. - H81I-PLUS

CPU : intel g3220

Memory: 8gb

HDD's : 4x2tb w/ a 120gb SSD for cache

Case:  Lian-Li Q25B

Sata Controller:  IBM 1015 flashed to IT mode

PSU: FSB Group 300W

My game plan is to eventually run 4x4tb drives.  But I don't need the space quite yet, so I'm going to wait for prices to drop a bit.

I'm pretty active in the popcornhour and YAMJ community, so I'll be running those and Plex with the server mostly.  Anyways, It's been a fun project and I've been pretty impressed with unRAID so far.  I decided to jump right into the 6.0 beta, and run xfs for the file systems....everything is working great so far.
