Redxd Posted January 27, 2015 Share Posted January 27, 2015 Hi All, This arvo I tried to upgrade my unplugged plugins over to Phaze plugins (Just the normal ones Sick,Sab,Couch and Transmission). I backed up the /boot like usual just in case anything went wrong. 1. Kept on seeing 'unable to contact github' errors in on my putty session while i was running the 'installplg' command for each install 2. After installing them some wouldn't start up failing with weird errors saying 'PID Created but process not start'. Got this with a few of the programs. 3. Decided to change back to the original unplugged plugins. Started seeing the same type of errors while installing about unable to contact github, or like server security certificate is wrong. 4. Managed to edit the plg and change the github URL over to a local source for the .png file it was looking for. Did this for all the installs that were looking for it 5. Gave the server a fresh reboot but then the dynamix view wouldn't come online. I could view it via the normal unmenu on port 8080. 6. I've had dynamix now for a few months with no issues so not sure why it wasnt working. Tried to update to the latest dynamix but still it won't initiate after a server restart. 7. Still had the old simplefeatures plugin files but that didn't work either. 8. Now i'm not sure what to do, my Sab/Sick/Couch/Transmission are all 'turned off' so even they don't auto start now. Any help would be awesome. Server is a virtual machine inside ESXi, with a Unraid version of 5.0.5 P.S, I searched around for Github issues but only found a few mid 2014 which most were saying the hosters links need to be changed etc, I am also able to ping Github from the server. Redxd Posted January 28, 2015 Author Share Posted January 28, 2015 I ended up upgrading to version 6 B12 with no issues. With Dynamix inbedded I was able to see the main page and go through the process of installing the main plugins with success. Admin can you please delete this thread? Link to comment
