TVHeadend install problems

Featured Replies

I just got v6 installed, but I am having problems installing tvheadend. when I go to install it it says "Warning: simplexml_load_file(): I/O warning : failed to load external entity "" in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 171

plugin: xml parse error".

What do I need to do to get this corrected?

This is typically a bad download or possibly a corrupt flash drive. You can put your flash in your PC and let it checkdisk.

Thanks, I will pull the flash and run chkdsk on it.

If it turns out to be a bad flash drive.. Do i have to buy an additional license?

Thanks, that is good to know since I just upgraded from plus to pro.

Are you sure it is actually a bad flash and not simply one with corruption that can be fixed by Windows chkdsk?

No idea yet... I am doing a parity check currently. I was just asking for a worst case scenario. The flash drive was just formatted last night when the latest beta was installed.
