Anyway, everything is gone, did clean the drive and installed from scratch again and still the issue. Maybe you got a bad download. Since that version is unavailable on the download page maybe try the latest, and check the md5sum to make sure you got a good download.

Did both what? Did you check the md5sum? Since nobody else is having this problem, it must be something unusual about your hardware or something you have done. I think the hardware is the least likely of these, but you haven't told us anything about that either. Boot in SAFE mode and then post a syslog.
