DUNE Won't See User Shares

Featured Replies

Haven't used my DUNE media player, in quite some time. For some reason...I can't SMB browse, my user shares.

Never had this issue before: I can see the machine, in the Workgroup; but when I select it, it says contents are "empty".

Any thoughts??

I have issues with one of my SMB devices in that it won't wait more than a second or so for a file/directory listing, producing an empty listing instead.  Sometimes unRAID takes 5-10 seconds to complete the request if drives are sleeping as it has to spin them all up (I don't have cachedirs running).  I don't have direct experience with the DUNE, but could that be the cause?  Perhaps force all the drives to spin up from the unRAID/unMenu interface and then access the share?

Thanks...I'll try that. I posted here, rather than as if it were a Dune issue; because the Dune does see, other SMB shares on my network (like from the MyCloud EX2).

Thanks

My Dune Smart B1 often showed this behavior. It is a problem of the Dune. If I made a network  share shortcut on the start page (Don't remember what that is called anymore) and type in everything manually, it works.

It might not be this, but I thought I'll mention it :)
