Rich
No, I only have the one wireless router, which is the default hardware provided by sky. Quote Link to comment
Rich
I have isolated the network to just my router, my MacBook Pro and the unRAID server and the problem still persists. Which suggests the problem has to be with either unRAID, or the router Quote Link to comment
tr0910
I think it's time for a new router. 2003 was the last time I used a combo modem router from the ISP. They are bad. I recently used a Comcast xfinity combo unit for a few days just to remind me how bad they are. Was able to bridge it and turn it into a cable modem only and all problems went away. I've used from old Linksys wrt-54gl to Netgear 7000 routers. The one thing I've standardized on is to flash them all with dd-wrt/tomato firmware. The problems with ISP supplied combo units is legendary and well known. I've never used the one you have but that's what I think you are up against. Quote Link to comment
Rich
Just ordered the latest 'all in one' model from Sky, so hopefully that may sort it. I'll post back when its up and running Quote Link to comment
Rich
I'm happy to confirm that the Sky SR102 router solved the problem I've used exactly the same settings / ip assignments as the previous set up, so it must have been something to do with the old router / fibre modem. Thank you all. Quote Link to comment
