Missing files in user shares, files still on disks

Featured Replies

I saw the other post about missing folders, and my problem is similar, but it seems slightly different.  I'm running 5.0.5 with 12 disks plus parity and cache.  I only have a "LiveTV" share using the cache drive.  I write to the cache drive from SageTV for recordings.  I had a disk fail about two weeks ago and I replaced it about a week ago after prepping it.  The array is in the green now, with the replacement disk installed.  We might not have been using SageTV, but today we noticed that almost none of the recordings are showing up.  When I looked at the user share from a Windows machine it's empty.  When I look at the share on the disks, including the cache, I see all of the recorded shows spread across different disks.  This is also true for the replacement disk.  Also, the cache disk is holding some of the recordings, which says to me it's not flushing out of the cache.

I haven't done an upgrade in a while.  I did have to run the permissions fix from the GUI after the replacement drive.  What do I need to do to fix this?

Nothing?  I was really hoping this was a simple fix.  I am getting some ReiserFS errors at the console as well.  Something about locks.  As I said, I ran the permissions fix from the web interface.

Most likely filesystem corruption. See v5 help in my sig.

Ok, lots of the same stuff in the syslog, but this is probably the relevant part:

I had to do a tree rebuild, but it seems to have worked.  Thanks for your help!
