tyrindor
Can someone give a noob a tutorial here? I watched the video, didn't understand it. I've never done a VM before. I made the OpenELEC VM. Now how do I access Xodi from my other devices with it? All I have is a .img file in the specified share. Link to comment
nadmax
I have the same question. I've deployed Windows VMs before under Unraid and always accessed the console via VNC. I'm a bit stuck for Open Elec though, couldn't find much in the documentation. How do you access the console and configure it? Thanks as always. Long Live Unraid! Link to comment
beire
I guess the openelec VM template only allow selection of a physical GPU passed through to the VM. There is no option for VNC. I noticed this too, but i guess it's a logical decision. Link to comment
dvd.collector
The idea behind this is that you have a physical monitor or tv connected to your unraid graphics card that you have passed through to the VM. Therefore you watch Kodi on that monitor or TV. You would control Kodi via an app on a phone or tablet as described in the support thread. Link to comment
