skyking376
I have been running 4.7 for a few years and do have a "Plus" key but in process of upgrading from 4.7 to 6 I don't know where to look to copy/paste that key to the newly reformatted USB Flash drive. I did make a copy of flash drive before this process. Thank you for the help Link to comment

trurl
That link is about getting a new key for a new flash. If you are trying to reuse the same flash, try looking in the config folder of your backup for a filename that ends in .key. If it's not there then try looking in the top folder of your backup. I think it used to be in the top folder but now it is kept in the config folder and that is where you must put it. Link to comment
sosdk
The key must be in the config folder in v6. Link to comment
garycase
If your copy of the flash drive from v4.7, there will be a "Plus.key" file in the Config folder. Simply copy that file to the Config folder of v6 ==> won't even require a reboot. You ARE using the same flash drive, right? [The keys are "tied" to the flash drive.] If not, you'll have to follow the "key replacement" instructions to move your key to a different flash drive. Link to comment
