EdgarWallace
Is there any way to expand my Windows C: partition? It seems that the small restore partition is preventing this expansion respectively you can't without moving that little recovery partition. It would let me shrink the partition but the "Expand" button is greyed out. I have attached the overview of my c: drive, maybe someone has a great idea. Thanks a lot. Link to comment
Scrapz
You probably don't really need the recovery partition. You could get rid of it and reclaim the space in order to let you expand. But yes, partitions (generally) need to be contiguous. Link to comment
EdgarWallace
Thanks for the confirmation that partitions need to be contiguous to be extended. I was helping myself by installing the free "MiniTool Partition Wizard". This was doing the job. Thanks a lot. Link to comment
