I have a bootable USB HD that has Lubuntu 15.10 installed on it. It boots directly into EmulationStation...it is my portable arcade machine that can be basically plugged into any system and booted. johnodon Posted January 16, 2016 Author Share Posted January 16, 2016 I remember that booting USB devices in ESXi was always a challenge. I just booted the OE installer via a USB stick (that way it is designed to work) and it worked perfectly. I'm not sure why I never tried before other than the fact of mounting the EFI IMG is just as easy (if not easier). John Link to comment
