February 1, 201610 yr Is there any way to delay the startup of my VMs? I want them to auto start, but i have a problem with 2 of the VMs. My WS 2016 wont let me RDP into the server. And it is connected to a "public" network when i auto start the VM with unRAID. I have tried to open the firewall for RDP both on public and private networks, but it wont let me connect. After a restart all works fine. And network is set to private. My OpenELEC VM cant find the DB that is hosted in docker (Mariadb). I have to restart the VM, and it finds the db without a problem. Seems like the network is not ready when the VMs are starting up. All VMs are installed on my RAID10 cache. JoWe
February 1, 201610 yr Author For open elec, there's an option to wait for network to be available. Yes, thats right! Ill try that, thanks!
February 2, 201610 yr Would be nice to have an option to prioritize the order VM's / dockers start.. And give them a delay.. This is actually copying something pretty regular on other virtualisation platforms..

May 4, 201610 yr yes please! i really need this.. I want my domain controller vm to startup first.. I had the same problem to solve. See a solution in this post to delay startup of a Windows 7 machine. I think it works in 8 and 10 as well. Regards. --dimes
