Unraid 6.2 Beta 20 NO VM TAB

Featured Replies

Hello hello,

i installed 6.2 Beta 20 today and now my VM Tab is away.

under vm settings it is enabled but the status in the upper right corner says "Status: Stopped"

Howdy, I moved this to General Support, because we need a closer look at your situation before deciding it's a Defect.  As far as I know, there aren't any other similar reports, so it's unlikely to be a Defect.

The main thing we need is your Diagnostics, so please see Need help? Read me first!, and attach the diagnostics zip.  And if you have the diagnostics from your previous version, that would be very helpful.

i seem to remember someone having a similar problem because they had tried to use a different location for the libvirt image than the default.

Reading RobJ's post might not be the solution, but it would certainly be a good start :)

Okay, i installed a stable version of unraid.

The other problem is, i created a VM, and set the location for the virtio drivers.iso ... when i boot in vm from windows iso..

There are no drivers mounted to the cd rom drive....

Can someone help?

Or a new thread?

Best would be a new thread in the KVM Hypervisor section, and in the new thread describe your hardware, the version of windows and version of virtio drivers you are using, attach your diagnostic zip file, and possibly a screen shot of the error. Also helpful to reference the tutorial you are following and whether you modified any of the steps or are following it verbatim.
