[Request] Vagrant Dev Environment for unRaid 6.x

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

It would be great for newbies like me to the platform to be able to compile modules, etc for unRaid. Anyone have anything like that or would want to work on it with me?

If so, let me know.

Thanks,

This is easy enough to do if you have a Slackware VM (or even native Slackware).  LimeTech provide the configuration they use for building the kernel as part of the release (as well as the source for the 'md' driver).  At one point I used this approach to get a native Slackware build that ran unRAID on top of it (although I have not done that recently).

Having said that if there are patches applied to the standard kernel source that are not supplied I have no idea.
