July 22, 20169 yr I know this was fixed in 6.2.0rc1 but there have been a number of cases of this for people running stable. Any chance we could get this fixed in the stable branch. here here
August 1, 20169 yr I agree, this should be fixed immediately, since it could mean a lot of wasted time for victims of the bug, or even, in some cases, lost data. It just happened to me but I was lucky to have a backup.

August 20, 20169 yr There was some coded added in 6.2-rc1 (2016-07-08): md/unraid: prevent multiple kernel threads from updating super.dat file at the same time Has this issue occurred since that release?
August 25, 20169 yr I haven't been around much lately, especially in the support boards, but I haven't seen any more myself, from users using the RC's. But it would be better to hear from trurl, johnnie.black, itimpi, etc.

But it would be better to hear from trurl, johnnie.black, itimpi, etc. I haven't heard of any on the RCs either, but my OP wasn't about the RCs it was about the stable. Have seen some with that and thought it serious enough to consider a fix for those users who didn't want to run beta/RC.
