tucktuck
Worked with the machine all day yesterday troubleshooting and upgrading to the latest beta release - all was working fine for the most part. Today I started it up to find that the array would not start due to this error - Cannot contact key-server. Please check your network settings. Reboot did not resolve - is it possible their activation servers are down? Or is this an issue on my end that I can resolve with some help from you guys? Quote Link to comment

tucktuck
Thanks for the reply Squid, I made the DNS and IP static and the issue persists. I am most definitely connected to the network as I can ping websites from the machine. Do we know their activation server address? UPDATE: I deleted the key file manually from the USB - rebooted and went through the registration process again - issue still persists RESOLVED: Rebuilt USB stick with a clean version - discovered that my issue was probably being caused by an incorrect time/date in unraid settings. Sorry for the post and thanks for the help! Quote Link to comment

Sorry for the post and thanks for the help! CMOS battery completely dead on my server - date was Dec 2000 - chaning date resolved my issue! Quote Link to comment
