One other thing is there a way to restart my machine when this issue happens besides hitting my restart button on the front of the machine?

I guess since Putty is the only thing that works how can I do a clean restart?

From the command line
powerdown

Happened again.

Only can putty into it but nothing else.

I also forgot to turn on Fix Common Problems plugin Troubleshooting mode at last reboot.

Man I just don't know what the darn issue is.......

Powerdown only seems to work from the box itself and not putty.

If you can temporally disable the move, eg, schedule it to run on the 1st of each month, limit your writes to the cache disk, and see if you sill loose access, if not convert all reiserfs disks to xfs.

I may look at converting my disks to XFS as next thing though it will take a while to do.
