DenizenEvil
I just recently got some parts to put together a small dual Xeon build using this motherboard. I had unRAID working on a 6700k, but decided to move to a dual Xeon build. Now, when I boot up unRAID, I can choose either headless or GUI. Neither makes a difference in whether or not I can connect to the web UI. Instead, connecting to the IP takes me to the ASMB8-iKVM page. How can I disable the ASMB8-iKVM and only connect to unRAID? I should also note that the GUI boot mode doesn't even connect to the web UI. Connecting to localhost just loads forever. Quote Link to comment
bonienl
Use one of the other ethernet ports on the board. You are now connected to the IPMI port, which is for management of the board itself. Ps. Very nice board Edited May 21, 2017 by bonienl 1 Quote Link to comment
DenizenEvil
Thanks! Someone on Reddit mentioned that I was using the wrong IP, and indeed I was. I originally had my router set to give a static IP to the management NIC in the static DHCP table. Changing the MAC address to the LAN 2 port worked. I then just assigned another static IP to the management NIC for future use. Quote Link to comment
