Bring up second interface(eth1) on boot

Featured Replies

I have a second NIC that I have plugged in, but not configured that I use with the macvlan driver to assign other IPs to some docker containers.  On boot, this NIC doesn't come up automatically and I have to go to network settings and do a "Port Up" to get it to come online.  Any way I can set this to happen automatically?

You need to configure the interface from the GUI. Once configured it will bring up the interface after each reboot.

Is there no way to leave it unconfigured and still have the link come up?  The way I'm using it, I don't need it to have it's own IP

Configure the port and select "none" to have an assignment without IP address.
