June 22, 20179 yr There is a huge bug in the plugins page The icons doesn't get scaled down to 48x48 if they are bigger. Advanced buttons (Maybe rename it to BIG butt(ons) Sorry, couldn't help it...) have an image that is 256x256. Happens in both gray and black theme.
June 22, 20179 yr That's not a huge bug but huge button Correction made. Ps. Don't ask "Where is the Check for Updates" button, it has been replaced for an auto-updatecheck feature! Edited June 22, 20179 yr by bonienl

June 22, 20179 yr There are no settings for this.By auto update then do you mean auto update plugins or automatically check for updates when entering the page. Two very different thingsSent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk

Two very different things Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk Yeah sorry I wasn't clear. It is the latter one and ensures that when entering the page the up-to-date info is presented. This is especially handy when authors tend to release multiple versions in short succession...
June 22, 20179 yr It also means that a bug is quickly propagated. I think the user should have some say. of when updates occur.
June 22, 20179 yr It also means that a bug is quickly propagated. I think the user should have some say. of when updates occur. It's just checking. Not installing. For auto update you still need to install the plugin and set its criteria for when to installSent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk

Nothing is automatically updated, user still needs to decide himself. The difference between current approach and older is that there is no more risk that a user tries to install an outdated version, which may occur when the auithor has released a newer version after the last manual check done by the user and the installation itself.

Which is why auto update does it the same way.

I take it that any changes between the 2 branches will be dealt with by the upgrade / downgrade script automatically? For instance, when upgrading from 6.1ish (I forget which exactly) to 6.3ish required deleting the docker.img and recreating. Will that kind of thing be handled without user intervention now?
June 22, 20179 yr Might be that the stable/next switch option is only available from unRAID 6.4 onwards, this is LT to decide, but for sure it won't be available for releases 6.2 and older. The current OS installation PLG file already takes care for the many variations which exist between the running version and the new version to be installed. Deletion and recreation of the Docker image was quite a drastic measure due to fundamental changes in Docker itself. Can't tell if that is ever going to happen again.
