Getting ready to put two SSDs in my unraid server for the first time.  Outside the array, for docker images and container working areas.

 

Anything specific I need to do, or do they just "work?"  Will unraid do maintenance and garbage collection stuff on its own?

You'll need the Unassigned Devices plugin to mount them, and Dynamix SSD Trim to trim them. 

 

If you want them in a RAID1, then assign them as the cache drive (if you don't already have one), and then you'll only need Dynamix SSD trim
