Hi, sorry for my ignorance as i am new to unraid. i have recently setup a build with ryzen 1700. i have not been able to get plex to be stable.

sometimes plex server works on lan  and i have only gotten remote access to work once

i setup remote access in my plex server settings it says connected. i go to a different page and its red again says not connected.

 

I have tried changing all settings on my router. i have an edgerouter that i use as my modem i have had this setup with windows plex with no issues. ports are forwarded and i have manually specified port in plex but still can only see it sometimes and it does not stay. 

 

i have tried changing to my isp's modem and setup port forwarding on that with no success.

 

am using the plex container

not sure what you may need to diagnose but i have added my system logs. thanks

not sure what happend but when i updated to 6.4. i could not boot up. it kept going through eth0 checks and would not boot. i replaced 2 files from the previous folder and it boots back up now but obviously nothing was solved as i am on same version.

 

so because of this issue i tried on a different cpu and motherboard. i tried on intel i5-3570k with asus p8z77 pro motherboardand i am having all the same issues.

Try redoing your flash drive

thank you. i had set my router to give a static ip which didnt allow it to boot up. i redid my flash drive to 6.4 and turned off static ip. a lot better now thabks for your help.
