September 9, 201015 yr The bluray icon is shown using the gui real time from the filename and isn't a stripped and stored value (or it wasnt as of a few months ago). The HD tagging in XBMC is superior but isnt related to the scraper. You dont scrape IMDB to see if you have an xvid... its a different process unrelated to scraping the internet. XBMC scraper massively exceed Ember in sheer variety alone. hat you are talking about is an extra feature but not a show stopper.
September 9, 201015 yr Ember also gets extra thumbs, lets me choose the name in case there is possible conflict and rips trailers from youtube so I get a much higher rate of the movies having trailers than with the xbmc scraper.
September 9, 201015 yr I think you are confusing scrapers with what actions are taken from the parsed scraper info. The scraper is the bit that parses and decodes the information. XBMC may download one image from this list but that is a separate process from the scraper. i.e. if you wanted every image the sep process would be passed all the img urls.
