Grizz1968
Very nice start and I am sure you will enjoy. I would look at this option as well for that board. Support for Intelligent Platform Management Interface v.2.0 IPMI 2.0 with virtual media over LAN & optional KVM-over-LAN support 200-pin IPMI slot (Optional: AOC-SIMLC-HTC) (Optional: AOC-SIM1U+)-KVM-over-LAN support NOTE: Must use Dedicated LAN for KVM-over-LAN function I just upgraded to this board and with AOC-SIM1U+ and couldn't be happier. cj0r
I want a setup like this but in i3 flavor for the lowlowlow power usage . Link to comment
gfjardim
In your case, i would choose these mobos instead: http://www.supermicro.com/xeon_3400/Motherboard/X8SIA.cfm?IPMI=Y http://www.supermicro.com/xeon_3400/Motherboard/X8SIL.cfm?IPMI=Y The processor can be a Core i3, bu memory must be DDR3 ECC UDIMM. MvL
Certainly a very nice board. Can someone tell me what is the power consumption with a i3 and a Xeon cpu? Link to comment
