MrLondon
Hi there, I replaced a 2 TB drive yesterday with a 4 TB drive, I powered down the server replaced the drive and once the server was up I chose the new drive in the old drives position and started the rebuild then I saw a message that it was unmountable and it gave me an option to format the drive which I did, I aborted the existing parity resync and started it again. It now finished but there is no data on the drive and it shows a utilization of 4 gb. Luckily I still have the original drive as it did not fail, but what did I do wrong here? I have attached my diagnostic file tower-diagnostics-20180129-0742.zip Quote Link to comment

MrLondon
So how will I get the 2 tb of data back to the replacement drive? Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
You can mount the old disk with the UD plugin and copy the data to the new disk. Quote Link to comment
