itimpi
Those are both very old releases. The current release is 6.4.1. You can upgrade to 6.4.1 using the manual upgrade process. You should, however, make sure you read the Release notes first. Quote Link to comment
The Big Stink
I assumed this was the correct guide to follow: https://lime-technology.com/wiki/UnRAID_6/Upgrade_Instructions and in particular the "From version 6.1 or earlier" section. My plan was to update to 6.2.0, follow the "Post installation procedures", and then carry on updating incrementally to 6.4.1. Is the above guide incorrect, and if so is there a guide for this manual upgrade process? Thanks Quote Link to comment
Frank1940
You are starting from so far back, there is no specific guide to work you through the process. However, If it were I, I would start by going to 6.3.5 first. The release thread for it is here: https://lime-technology.com/forums/topic/57599-unraid-os-version-635-stable-release-available/ After you have it working, then you can go to 6.4.1 by following the instruction in this thread: https://lime-technology.com/forums/topic/66327-unraid-os-version-641-stable-release-update-notes/ Depending on the Plugins, Docker and VM's you have installed, it may be an easy upgrade procedure or you may hit a few snags along the way. Straight NAS setups are obviously the easiest and usually go very smoothly. EDIT: FIRST THING----- Stop the array and make a complete copy of your flash drive at this point. And I would continue to do this at each point as you get each new upgrade working. This makes rolling back to the previous version much, much easier!
