Server Recovery

Featured Replies

Its been a bad day.....

After in inadvertently wiping my flash drive.

I was able to recover it from a backup, but it was a few month old.

This is were it gets grey

All drives mounted and no data loss. But some of my apps have no config.

Plex has no librarys listed there. Users are still there, just the library and watch status is lost.

Is there any way to recover this? I think between the recover and the current time I started using a cache drive. manually browsing the appdata folder I have all the files, but it just seems odd. Not really sure were to start with this.

Sonarr is in the same state, it started, but its lost its database.

Help??? Please

With Plex especially, edit the app and change its /config path mapping (show more settings) to be /mnt/cache/appdata/....  Beyond that, there's a million possible reasons for what you're seeing.

Best is that when you make fundamental changes to the server to backup the flash drive.  Or to backup it up automatically on a schedule.
