NewDisplayName Posted November 30, 2018 Share Posted November 30, 2018 Hi after upgrading RAM 16 - 32GB i accidently startet the array with one disk missing... Now i think i have plugged everything back to normal. Still unraid says, disk 5 disabled. But how to enable it? unraid-server-diagnostics-20181130-2008.zip unraid-server-smart-20181130-2042.zip Edit: in an old post i found a solution via rebuilding all disks, is this really neccessary? is there no "smart" way. No, you just need to rebuild the disable disk, and it's usually the recommended way, you could do a new config and trust parity if you're sure noting was written to that disk after it got disabled, but would also need to run a correcting parity check after since a few sync errors are always expected.
