January 24, 20197 yr so today i installed Unraid on my machine and now i am in the process to move my media to unraid, server is located in my porch and is cool air there. i noticed that my NVME cache drive is 66-C and is flashing hot, should i be worried, and if i set to spin down cache drive that error disappear, if set to spin down will affect the NVME cache drive performance ?. Is any way to fix this ? also any way to move remove APPS from Dashboard ? Edited January 26, 20197 yr by Danuel
January 24, 20197 yr Community Expert That's normal for NVMe devices after large writes, though a cooler will make it better, they can usually go up to 70C, then it will start throttling, you can set custom thresholds by cling on it on the main page.
January 25, 20197 yr Author @johnnie.black thank you for information, i will change that NVME in the future with larger SSD HD, for now i think is fine Some information about autoupdate docker containers if anyone can give some information if i set my docker containers to autoupdate, i will have any problems with containers (meaning will not work ?) do i have to remake the settings on those docker containers ?

YMMV, but I run all LSIO containers, have had them all set to autoupdate since Dec, 2016 (ie: they've auto updated every week since then), and have never had a problem.
January 26, 20197 yr Author Some help i set my HDD to spin down if there is no activity and i use the SSD and i scheduled the Trim Setting and Mover Settings last night for some reason my server froze with no response, i had to use the reset button to restart the server My question is if i set to spin down the Array Drive and NVME Cache drive, the system will be stable or i will have problems ? and i noticed in logs a error when perform Trim - Jan 26 09:20:36 kernel: print_req_error: critical target error, dev nvme0n1, sector 249604142 Jan 26 09:20:36 kernel: BTRFS warning (device nvme0n1p1): failed to trim 1 device(s), last error -121 i also noticed that my NVME Cache drive does not show under System Devices Edited January 26, 20197 yr by Danuel

January 27, 20197 yr Community Expert Looks to me like a device issue, probably a firmware or compatibility problem, I seem to recall another user with the same problem with an ADATA device, it uses a Realtek controller, those are likely cheap and not the most reliable ones.

January 27, 20197 yr Community Expert Yes, though trim is usually a fast operation, as for the download share also yes as long as the capacity is adequate.
