mctavish01
Hello, so the down and dirty is I have a 250gb drive as cache with a windows vm on it that I would like to swap out for 2 new 500gb drives. What is the best way to go about this with no data loss or changes to the VM? Thanks for any and all help! Quote Link to comment

mctavish01
it is btrfs. Quote Link to comment
trurl
The FAQ has a whole section on working with the cache pool: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/46802-faq-for-unraid-v6/?page=2&tab=comments#comment-554741 First link in that section seems to apply: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/46802-faq-for-unraid-v6/#comment-480417 Then this one: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/46802-faq-for-unraid-v6/#comment-480419 Quote Link to comment
mctavish01
Thanks for the reply, I even searched the forums but I guess it was a case of not know what to search! Quote Link to comment
trurl
This General Support subforum, as well as the Docker Engine subforum and others, have "sticky" threads pinned near the top. A lot of questions are already answered in the "stickies" such as that FAQ thread. Quote Link to comment
