IamSpartacus
I remember seeing someone (maybe @johnnie.black?) talking about how it's possible to create a second btrfs pool (i think with unassigned devices plug-in) through the CLI. I've been searching but can't find any info on this. Can someone school me on this or point me towards this topic? Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
It's in the FAQ: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/46802-faq-for-unraid-v6/?do=findComment&comment=462135 Quote Link to comment

Thanks so much @johnnie.black for such a detailed write up. Exactly what I needed. Quote Link to comment
IamSpartacus
Hey @johnnie.black, question about adding a pool via the UD plugin. I've done so following your directions but as soon as I convert to RAID1 the second device shows as unformatted in UD. Edited February 13, 2019 by IamSpartacus Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
You're missing the partition when adding it, it should be: btrfs dev add -f /dev/nvme1n1p1 Quote Link to comment

That's missing from your FAQ so might want to add it to avoid others like me bothering you in the future ;). Quote Link to comment

IamSpartacus
Just now, johnnie.black said: It's not. it even says note the 1 in the end to specify the partition, though for NVMe devices it's p1 instead of just 1, I'll add that. Oh I see. I thought the "note the 1" was just referencing the first device. My mistake. Quote Link to comment
