Boyturtle 0 Posted July 8 I have several members of my family with accounts on my Unraid box. We all have our individual areas that are private and not accessible to other family members; or so I thought. If another family member accesses the shares in a file manager and tries to look at my folder (\\server\user1), they can not see it's contents (because they have no access in the share settings). If they go through disk1 or disk2 etc(\\server\disk1\user1), they can see and access all the files that are stored on that disk that are under my username and execute/modify them. Now, I've either done a huge mistake when setting up my server, or there is a gaping hole in Unraid's security policies. I hope it's the former and that someone here can tell me what a muppet I've been and show me how to fix it. Quote Share this post Link to post
BRiT 209 Posted July 8 Correct the share settings for the disk shares or dont enable disk shares at all. Quote Share this post Link to post
