Ryzen 9 3900X Question

Featured Replies

Hi,

Looking at the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, any fellow Unraiders running this and can comment on the performance?

Also really scared of the lockup/ freezing thing everyone was talking about on the Facebook with AMD.

All comments welcome, I look forward to learning.

I'm interested too. Was anyone able to pin the CCDs to one Windows 10 VM without stuttering?

Anybody have any fun updates to share on this? My CPU arrives today - will be dropping it in an ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero. Would love to hear from anybody with this setup!

thanks!

Matt

Hi

Been running mine for about 2 months on x570 strix-f. Make sure you update your bios, enable virtualization, iommu etc

Not had any stuttering under load running 2 win10 VM's under gaming loads 5 + 6 cores with 24 containers and the os

Issues i've had were hardware acceleration on AMD fury now 2x2070supers. No coretemp or temps from the motherboard but someone here has uploaded a kernel to fix this. Getting the ram to change to 3600mhz from 2133 took a few reboots before bios would take it.
