macros the black
so my web gui stops loading after 20 to 30 hours of up time. i'm running on a asus prime 370x with a 1800x cpu. 16 gig of ram with a 256g samsung m.2 nvme. 46 tb on 5 wd red drives. i'm still in the set up phase of this build. I'm a total noob to unraid and the only way i have been able to get back up and running is a hard restart. I picked up a acp smart ups so i can more gracefully shut it down by killing power but would love to figure out how to stop this from happening. I didn't update the bios after reading of problems with the latest bios from amd. but now that i typed that I'm realizing thats probably problems with the latest bios for the 3rd generation chips. i will have to look into how to disable c states. is there a good way to update bios without having to rebuild the unraid server? BTW loving the community application it was part of what sold me on unraid. Quote Link to comment

Every mfg has their own procedure on updating the BIOS. Usually, its done from within it after downloading the BIOS file from another computer. 1 Quote Link to comment

I thought I had done all my home work on this re purpose of my old gaming rig but I never read anything about the c states leading up to the build. Time will tell if that was the only issue. again I thank you sir and will call this a solved issue Quote Link to comment
