je82
Upgraded and now "wsdd" is taking 100% cpu from 1 tread constantly, i want it gone! Seems to be related to discovery over samba, something i don't care for at all! Any ideas how to completely shut this piece of software down? Edited December 12, 2019 by je82 Quote Link to comment
je82
Found setting in smb, ill try disabling it and see if the 100% cpu goes away. Ill report back in few hours when im certain its gone Quote Link to comment
je82
Ok issue appears to be solved when disabling discovery, i did however notice that a radio i am running at https://darkone.network/radio/ is mounting a smb share using ver1.0 (smb1) and maybe this was the cause? i changed the mount to be 3.0 but i have not yet re-enabled discovery as it is not something i need, but perhaps the 1.0 smb was causing trouble? Anyway, issue resolved. Edited December 12, 2019 by je82 1 Quote Link to comment
BRiT
Wanted to say thanks for posting your solution for this and not just saying "nevermind, fixed it". I noticed I'm having the same issue with wsdd pegged at 100% of 1 cpu core. Turning it off 'fixed' it for me too. Quote Link to comment

Just like BRiT said, "Thanks". 16 threads and 1 random thread always 100%. Started happening out of the blue. Console showed "wsdd" at the top. Disabled WSD and back to normal. Quote Link to comment
