December 20, 20196 yr Application Name: shoginn-flightradar24 Application Site: https://www.flightradar24.com/share-your-data Github Repo: https://github.com/ShoGinn/flightradar24 Docker Hub: https://hub.docker.com/r/shoginn/flightradar24 @ShoGinn <3 Template Repo: https://github.com/FoxxMD/unraid-docker-templates Overview FlightRadar24 is a Swedish internet-based service that shows real-time commercial aircraft flight information on a map. This docker contains FR24's binary for consuming an ADSB feed and uploading the parsed data to FR24. Usage To properly use this docker you must have: A sharing key received by registering an account on FR24 and "activating" a new receiver. An ADSB feed for the application to consume. If you have a radio device, like an RTL-SDR, you can use shoginn-dump1090 to create this feed. Note: There is a known bug in the current binary builds of fr24's application. If your container crashes during startup try setting mlat and mlat w/o gps to no. Edited January 14, 20206 yr by FoxxMD add shoginn mention
December 26, 20196 yr It was complaining about not being GMT+0, so I added TZ=GMT+0 into the environment to resolve it also. unraid passes the local TZ by default it seems. Thanks!!
January 26, 20206 yr Thanks! I have changed for CI/CD for my repos to now include both latest and the commit as part of the docker hub tags.. I did this only because having just latest was bad practice if something went screwy
January 26, 20206 yr @FoxxMD noticed that this docker will shutdown if any of the firewall (pfSense) or ISP Router are rebooted & will not start until done manually. EDIT: I think it might have been fixed. Edited January 27, 20206 yr by PSYCHOPATHiO
February 7, 20206 yr I recommend we change the MLAT's to no for the Unraid template. Not sure why, but with MLAT enabled it fails
March 29, 20206 yr It is not clear to me how to activate a new receiver from scratch. Following the linked in instructions on the FlightRadar24 website says to "Click "Activate" on the receiver you want to connect to your Flightradar24 account." or, if that doesn't work to run their install script. Unfortunately I don't see an "Activate" button and their install script won't run in the docker. What am I missing? Edited March 29, 20206 yr by daves
