Markdc Posted December 29, 2019 Share Posted December 29, 2019 When I click Reboot or Powerdown in Main GUI, nothing happens. When I use the command 'powerdown' in the terminal I get '/usr/local/sbin/powerdown: line 6: /sbin/init: Permission denied". Both GUI and terminal Reboot/Powerdown will work only after I run in terminal 'chmod +x /sbin/init'. I have to do this every time I need to reboot or powerdown. Any suggestion on how I can bring the GUI functionality back? Thanks. Quote Link to comment

Markdc Posted December 30, 2019 Author Share Posted December 30, 2019 Yup thanks. Both VM execution error and Reboot/Powerdown don't work in safe mode. With all the issues I have had after the upgrade to 6.8, I decided to with a fresh install. Thanks for all the help Squid. Quote Link to comment
