rvoosterhout
So I just had my parity drive disable itself, disk logs shows I/O errors. I unfortunately rebooted my server before getting a diagnostics file (yeah i know..), but now my smart report don't show me any problems, the disk log is also clear of errors. Is it safe to assume I can rebuild the drive? The drive is within warranty, not even 2 years old and pre-cleared before use. I attached diagnostics, created after I rebooted the server. behemoth-diagnostics-20191229-2330.zip Edited December 30, 2019 by rvoosterhout Quote Link to comment
rvoosterhout
I don't know if it's relevant, but the drive went into error mode a few seconds after I hit apply on the Dynamix Sleep s3 plugin, would that do something like a check over the drives? Thanks, I will start the rebuild soon. The drives are in a R710 drive bay, connectec my sas cables to an LSI. I'll keep an eye on it. Quote Link to comment
rvoosterhout
I found out it was a power surge at 11:19 pm last night. My unify AP went offline at the same time. Thanks! Quote Link to comment

Thanks! Sounds like it might be time to consider getting a UPS for your Unraid server Quote Link to comment
rvoosterhout
Just now, itimpi said: Sounds like it might be time to consider getting a UPS for your Unraid server I've got one, the AP is just not on there yet. The UPS should stop the surge, but I guess that didn't happen. Quote Link to comment
